Running Diary (5)
OK, so I laid off the running for 2 weeks after the half marathon and have now decided to start up again (too much of a good thing and all that). Now that the goal of completing my first half marathon has been accomplshed I need a target to aim for in order that I keep pushing myself to get out and run. So I have decided to try and complete the half marathon in around 2 hours the next time I run which should be around May time. This equates to a 9 min 15 sec / mile pace.
This morning I ran 6 miles in 54 minutes which if I could keep that pace up for 13 miles would do the trick, the only prob is that I can't (at the moment), but all being well given another 5 odd months I should be there.
I will keep a record of ALL my runs this time and not just the ones that went well!
